Kollywood actress Pooja Umashankar who was invisible among the front line female celebrities of kollywood is all set to do a meaty role in a Sinhalese flick. The actress will don the role of a princess for the flick 'Kusa Paba' which will be a flick set in the BC era.

The Sinhalese film industry has planned to do the project as a commemoration of 2,600th anniversary of Buddha's enlightenment.Pooja will don the role of Prabavathy, a princess. "Pooja feels it an honour to act in the film. It is a lifetime role for her and this is for the first time she is acting in a mythological movie.", said sources close to the actress.
