Kollywood actress Vijayalakshmi who was donning the role of Aarya's sister-in-law in Boss Engira Baskharan filed a legal petition against director Seeman. The actress complained that the director has refused to marry her despite maintaining a close relationship with her for months. “Vijayalakshmi and Seeman have been meeting regularly for the last three years. Since he refused to marry her, Vijayalakshmi was forced to approach the police to take legal action against Seeman,”, said close sources.

Sources close to the director has however denied the allegation and said that there was no personal relationship between the actress and Seeman. Vijayalakshmi had met him asking his help for her sister's divorce. Apart from that, there is nothing between the director and the actress. This is an attempt to tarnish his image,” , said sources.
