Despite being busy attending to his hospitalized father-in-law, national award winning actor Dhanush is also focused on his upcoming projects. The actor who is at the moment in Singapore with super star Rajanikanth is regularly in touch with his colleagues to ensure the progress of his ongoing projects.

His upcoming project, Irandam Ulakam has Dhanush donning the role of a medical student. The flick is directed by his own brother and ace kollywood director Selvaraghavan. Sources close to the team reported that this will be an entirely new venture and will encompass a lot of aspects of daily living. Dhanush will be seen in a completly new look in the movie. He will sport a beard and glasses and checked shirts and coats in the flick. Irandam Ulakam will have tollywood actress Richa Gangopadhyaya donning the female lead.
