Ace Kollywood actor Dhanush who bagged the National award for best actor dedicated his award to his father-in-law, super star Rajanikanth. “I dedicate this National Award (for his best performance in ‘Aadukalam’) to Rajini sir. I sincerely pray that the Superstar gets well soon and returns home,” , the actor said.

He also thanked his father Kasthuriraja and brother Selvaraghavan for introducing him to the industry. Dhanush also expressed his gratitude to his wife Aishwarya for motivating him through out the shooting of Aadukulam.
