The overnight elevation of S A Chandrasekhar from the post of Vice President to President of Tamil Film Producers Council has sparked a controversy within the organization. The protesters argued that the director made a back door entry instead of facing the elections.

"When a president resigns, election should be conducted to elect the new one.But SAC has made a backdoor entry only to promote the political interests of his son Vijay.
