Despite his sweeping victory at the just concluded Assembly polls, veteran actor-politician Vijayakanth is not willing to quit from kollywood. He was replying to his well wishers who had posed him this questions as they came to greet him on his success.

“Acting is my passion and profession. In fact, it is cinema which took me to the people. I will continue to act and at the same without any compromise to public work.”, Mr Vijayakanth was quoted as saying. Captain Vijayakanth has recently multi tasked for the kollywood flick 'Virudhagiri'. The actor himself had directed, produced and acted in the movie. The actor is also busy managing the affairs of his just launched news channel, Captain TV.
