Film industry mourns Sai Baba's demise [Monday, April 25, 2011]
India's popular spiritual leader Sri Sathya Sai Baba passed away on Sunday. He was hospitalized for over a month at the Sathya Sai Super Speciality Hospital at Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh. He was 85. The demise of the spiritual leader was received with grief by all his followers including the film industry. Numerous actors and actresses expressed their condolences to the Puttparthy ashram members. Ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar who is a popular devotee of Sri Sai Baba had also refused to play at the IPL due to Baba's worsening health condition.
