After raking kollywood through hit flicks like Shivaaji and Endhiran is all set to rock bollywood through an upcoming flick. Rajani has been roped in by producer Badrakali Vara Prasad Rao for a remake of the hit flick Badshaa.

“Now that Rajini has become a pan-Indian star thanks to the stupendous success of Enthiran, Rao considers this as a perfect time to release Baadsha in Hindi.Digital colour correction will be done to the movie and graphics will be added. There will be some other surprise changes too.", the producer said. Attempts were on since 1990 to remake the flick, but it never took off due to different reasons.
