Ace Kollywood actor Chiyan Vikram has been chosen as the youth envoy for the UN Habitat, the United Nations Human Settlement Programme. Responding to this the actor said that he always wanted to do something to the society. He thanked all his fans and other audience for supporting him and said that it was now his turn to return back the favours to the needy around him.

“I am honoured to be a part of this prestigious organization which works towards eradication of poverty, providing sustainable urban development and improved livelihoods for the poor.”, the actor was quoted as saying. Besides the new responsibility, the actor is actively engaged in numerous philanthrophic activities.
