The Viswaroopam team from Kollywood headed by ace actor Kamal Hassan and director Selvaraghavan was denied  Visa to the United States. Selva wanted to shoot a pivotal portion of the flick in US for which he sought a 40 day visa from the Embassy. However the team was informed that their Visa application has been rejected. The reasons for rejection are yet to be known.

The team is all busy trying to sort out the problem through all possible means. Director Selvaraghavan has in the meanwhile attempted to clear all the work at the Chennai level, which includes dubbing and editing. He is also busy with his second ongoing directorial venture, 'Irandam Ulagam' starring Dhanush and Andrea in lead roles.
