Top political representatives from AIADMK met superstar Rajanikanth and requested for his support for the upcoming Assembly elections. The meeting came days after candidates of the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and Bharatiya Janata Party called on the Superstar and sought his support.

AIADMK candidate Saidai Duraisamy, who is testing waters against Deputy Chief Minister and DMK treasurer M K Stalin in Kolathur constituency was the one to meet the superstar today. The candidate met Rajani at his residence in Chennai recently and spoke to him for 20 minutes. The candidate presented a shawl to the superstar and requested him to support his candidature. On his part the actor also welcomed Mr Saidai with a shawl and wished him good luck.
