Chief Minister M Karunanidhi never compromises on his regular contributions to the kollywood cinema. Despite being caught up in the swirl of election related pressures, the Chief Minister will soon pen a script for Kongunadu Munnetra Kazhagam (KNMK) president Best S Ramasamy.

The script will be based on Dheeran Chinnamalai. The CM revealed his plan to pen the script at the public meeting in Coimbatore. “Like how the proceeds of my earlier films went for charity purposes, the remuneration I get for Dheeran Chinnamalai would be donated for the welfare of the working class and poor people of this region”,Mr Karunanidhi said. He is also eagerly awaiting the release of 'Ponniyin Selvan', starring Prasanth. The script of the flick was also authored by him.
