Ace kollywood actor Sathyaraj has been roped in by director Mani Ratnam for his upcoming flick, Ponniyin Selvan. Sources close to the team reported that the actor will be doning the role of Buddha Bikku, a pivotal character in the historical novel. Sources also report that the character is very complex in nature and can only be handled by an experienced actor like Sathyaraj. However we are awaiting confirmation from  the team and the actor about the new developments.
