Kollywood actress Vidya Balan was roped in as one of the female leads of Rajani's Raana. Vidya was approached for the role after Asin refused to take it up. Raana will be directed by K S Ravikumar and has Rajani doning triple roles. The superstar will don three roles of three different generations. While the old warrior Rajani has Rekha as the female lead, the middle aged and youthful Rajani will have Vidya Balan and Deepika Padukone respectively as the female leads. The shooting of the flick is soon expected to go on floors according to sources.
