Academy award winning music director Rahman is not upset that he has missed the Oscars this time. He seems to be happy that Randy Newman has bagged the award. Speaking to the media he said that his son Ameen who is a budding singer wanted Randy to win the award. “My son Ameen and me saw ‘Toy Story 3’ a couple of months back. When the Academy Award nominations for songs came in, he said he wanted Toy Story’s song to win. It came so naturally from him,”, the music director was quoted as saying. Rahman is currently getting set to score the music for Rajanikanth starrer Rana which will be directed by K S Ravikumar.
