Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi presented the Kalaimamani awards to 125 kollywood film artists on sunday. Speaking at the function the chief minister said that he would increase the number of awards if he returns as Chief minister yet again after the upcoming assembly elections. “Now we have given awards to 125 persons. If I become the Chief Minister for the sixth time, the awards given by the Iyal Isai Nadaga Mandram will be increased to 225,” , the chief minister said. The popular faces of Kollywood who bagged the award included Actors Arya, Anushka, Tamannah, Rohini and Saranya, comedian Karunaas and cinematographer Rajeev Menon.
