Kollywood director Mysskin said that his recently released flick, Nandalala was inspired by Japanese flick 'Kikujiro', but not a copy of the same. Though Mysskin did not clarify himself to his critics, he has recently acknowleged that he was much inspired by the Japanese flick and that this might have influenced Nandalala. The director acknowledged the same in an interview he gave a to a popular site.
