Kollywood actor Kamal Hassan seems to be too engaged with philanthrophy these days. We had earlier reported his involvement in campaigning for HIV contracted children, childen with cardiovascular disease and so on. Recently the actor was seen donating an ambulance to Myopathy Institute of Muscular Dystrophy and Research Centre in Veeravanallur. The hospital is based in Tirunelveli. The institute is a part of Jeevan foundation, a group of non-profit organizations managed by Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, D Napolean. The minister received the ambulance keys from Kamla Hassan at the hospital premises in Tirunelveli.
