Kollywood flicks rule the roost in 8th Chennai International Film Festival [Sunday, December 26, 2010]
KOllywood flicks Angadi Theru and Kalaivani was selected as the first and second best movies at the 8th Chennai International Film Festival that was held in the city on thursday. The award for the best director was bagged by Prabhu SOlomon for the flick Mynaa. The film festival had a total of 125 entries from 40 countries. The festival was jointly organised by Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation, Film Federation of India, South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce and Tamil Nadu government. The award function was attended by many veteran indian film makers like Aparan Sen, K Bhagyaraj, Balu Mahendra, Suhasini Maniratnam etc
