The Karnataka government has taken decision to honour veteran actresses Saroja Devi and Lakshmi for their vital contribution to the film industry. Saroja Devi will be honoured with the Rajkumar Award for her contributions. Actress Lakshmi was chosen as the best female supporting actress fo her performance in the flick 'Vamshi'. The awards were announced by Chairman of Karnatalak government. The committee for the same has selected Kabaddi as the best movie and Yogesh as the best actor for his role in Ambari.
