Kollywood comedian M S Bhaskar escaped with minor injuries when the car he was travelling met with an accident near Pollachi on thursday. The accident happened on his way to the sets of Velayudham, starring Vijay. He was travelling with his assistant and another actor. “When the car was nearing Pollachi, another car collided with it. Smelling something serious, villages nearby rushed to the spot and rescued Baskar and others. There were no big injuries to anyone.", said close sources. “It was only due to God’s grace we escaped. Also, the mishap taught us a lesson to be more careful while on road. I am so happy that all of us are safe. My thanks to those who had helped us.”, said Baskar speaking to the media.
