Speaking at the audio launch function of Vijayakanth's Virudhagiri, kollywood actor Sathyaraj said that Vijayakanth will be soon called Dr Vijayakanth. Sathyaraj hinted that an American university is all set to award an honarary doctorate to Vijayakanth and then he will be called Dr Captain. "I will call him Dr. Captain after that",said Sathyaraj. He also said that he and Vijayakanth has been good friends for over 30 years and that Vijayakanth has helped him a lot. "I will call him Dr. Captain after that",added the actor. The audio launch  of the flick, which also marks Vijayakanth's maiden production venture was attended by numerous popular faces from kollywood including Cheran, A R Murugadoss etc
