Hindu Makkal Katchi, a religious organization has come out protesting against the move to cast Kollywood actor Nayantara as Seethadevi in a telugu flick which will be based on Ramayana. The Hindu Makkal Katchi has vehmently opposed Nayantara and recommended that the role should be given to some other actress. “Ramayana is a book of morals and it insists on the principle of ‘one man, one woman’ in life. What right Nayantara has to act as Seetha while she tried to snatch away another woman’s husband in real life?”, the organizing secretary of HMK said. The tollywood flick in which the actress was roped in for the role is titled as 'Sri Ramarajyam' with actor Balakrishna in the lead.
