Ace actor Madhavan said that money is not his priority when it comes to acting. He clarified that he prefers roles that would give him happiness and job satisfaction. “I am not acting in films for the sake of making money. My happiness and job satisfaction are important to me than anything else,” , the actor was quoted as saying. He was replying to the media why he turned down Shankar's offer to act in the tamil remake of three idiots. He said that he would love to be a part of Shankar's flick, but that he did not want to repeat the role that he once did.
“I would definitely love to do a film with Shankar and he is a prolific director. But I am not ready to repeat a role which I did earlier. It is boring to go through the process again. Also, I am on a break now besides mending by paining knee. I will be facing the camera soon and a couple of Tamil projects are in my hand,” , said Madhavan. He also added that he was awaiting the release of Mamadhavan Ambu and said that he has lots of expectations about the flick. He also said that he enjoyed both being a part of the flick and sharing the screen space with Kamal Hassan.
