He is also a regular sponsor of the lamps that are installed in the Girivalam path to the shrine. Lately, the temple authorities approached the actor to donate the lamps for the towers. The ace devotee accepted the request and has promised to install lamps in the Gopurams before the Karthigai Deepam on November 21.The superstar has engaged a globally reputed lighting company to look into the installation of lamps in the shrine and around.
