Ace kollywood star Prakash Raj and director Radha Mohan has confirmed the release of Payanam, with a target date in late december.The flick will be based on a aircraft hijack incident. The duo however denied reports that the movie is based on Flight IC 814 hijack. "The film is certainly not based on one particular hijacking episode. We researched various hijacks that have occurred over the years. I wanted to bring to the front the fact that terror can strike anywhere.", the director said. Prakash Raj said that he has a lot of hopes for the movie and guranteed that it will be an outright thriller. "Thanks to Radha Mohan and other members of the cast and crew, the movie has come out well. It will be yet another different attempt in our combination.
