Kollywood producer Dr D Ramanaidu was honoured with Dada Saheb Phalke award for his life long contributions to Indian cinema. The producer started off with his tollywood project Anuragan in 1963. Ever since the, he has produced a number of flicks in different Indian languages including Telugu, Hindi, Bengali, Oriya, Assamese, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi and Bhojpuri.
