The shooting of Vandhan Vendran, starring kollywood actor Jeeva, hit the floors on friday. The flick will be directed by Kannan and will have Tapsi, a fresher, as the female lead. “Vandhan Vendran is an action story with love as its backdrop. At the same time, there will be enough importance to comedy, thanks to Santhanam.”, said Kannan about the flick. The director said that the flick will be an outright commercial entertainer. He also expressed his joy to work with Jeeva as the male lead in the flick. “He is one of the very few actors in Tamil cinema who is willing to go to any extent having immense belief on the director. So I preferred him for Vandhan Vendran.”,the director was quoted saying.
