KOllywood super star Kamal Hasan will be honoured by the Kerala State government at a function in the capital city, Trivandrum on sunday evening. The event is held to honour the veteran actor for his contributions to the film industry. Kamal Hasan stepped into cinema as a young star from the portals of mollywood. His movies and the songs in his flicks are an evergreen hit among mollywood audience. The event will be marked by the presence of all veteran actors of mollywood like Mammotty, Mohanlal, Jagathy Sreekumar, Thilakan, Prithviraj, Suresh Gopi etc The chief minister V S Achuthananthan will present the actor with memento and award on behalf of the state government. The event will also mark the inaugural of the week long onam festival in Kerala. The programme will be followed by a cultural extravaganza show cased by talents from various parts of the country.
