Vamsam starring Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's grand son Arulnidhi hit the screens on friday morning and received a warm welcome from the kollywood audience. The Chief Minister came with his family to watch the movie at a special show in the city. After watching the movie, the chief minister lauded his grandson for his efforts in the film. He also appreciated the director of the flick, Pandiraj and the entire crew for the promising flick. “I am happy to receive appreciations from my grandfather who is one of the seniors of the film industry. I am hopeful that the film would be received well by the masses.I am glad I was not an actor in the ‘Manohara’ days. My grandfather's dialogues were razor-sharp and actors had to sweat it out to deliver them to perfection. He brought about many changes in the society through his works”, said Arulnidhi in response to his grand father's appreciation.
