Asin's agony, Vijays too ...  [Friday, July 2, 2010]

Steps are on within Kollywood to black list its once favourite and favoured actress Asin Thottumkal. Numerous members of the South Indian Film Artistes Association supported the decision after Asin travelled to Srilanka for the shoot of 'Ready', a hindi flick with Salman Khan in the lead. "It is true that many members recommended disciplinary action against Asin for not respecting the sentiments of the industry. A decision will be taken and announced in a couple of days," , said Radha Ravi, general secretary of the association. However there has been no official announcements yet in this regard. Many actors and actresses withdrew from participating in the IIFA function in Colombo fearing blacklisting.

However, what is of much concern is the ongoing project of Vijay that has Asin in the lead. More than half of the movie has already been shot and it is feared that if the actress is blacklisted, vijay might have even more tougher time with his attempts to compensate for the past losses.
