S A Chandrashekaran, reknowned director and producer and father of Kollywood actor Vijay said that his son will be careful in signing his future projects and would ensure that the prior mistakes are not repeated. The father's response came after the actor had a sequence of films doing bad in the box office.

The situations turned so worse that the theatres association members of Tamil Nadu came forward demanding a compensation for the loss of collection. “Vijay himself has said in one of his films that ‘life is a circle’. There has never been a flaw in his hard work and his future projects will speak volumes about it. He is very careful about his forthcoming films,”, said Mr Chandrashekaran. The father also expressed hope that Vijay's upcoming ventures 'Kaavalkkaran' and 'Velayudham' does enough to revive his son's lost image.
