Veteran Indian musician and academy award winner A R Rahman has cancelled the Jai Ho tour that he planned to conduct in US. The event will be rescheduled at a later date.  “Members of our tour miraculously escaped a big disaster in Detroit, when part of the Pontiac Silverdome infrastructure collapsed on our set. We are working to recoup all that has been lost (the lights, the sets).... with that, we have decided to reschedule at a later date. We will go ahead with the concerts in Europe and UK.”, said Rahman in a social networking website. Mr Rahman also apologised for cancelling the tour. He said he was thankful to God that none of his crew was seriously injured.
