Kollywood actress Lekha Washington is all thrilled about her new role in quarter cutting. The VJ turned actress hopes that the film will turn out to be a new turning point in her career. "I play a 19-year-old girl studying Plus Two, who attempts suicide. While trying to kill self, the girl meets some people who change her life.

The entire story happens in a single night", says Lekha. She says that she enjoys working with the unit and she finds Pushkar-Gayatri very friendly at the sets. Lekha is also set to don the lead role in yet another movie titled 'Raakozhi'. She is also heard to have signed for a Kannada movie that has Sameer in the lead role.
