Kollywood star Sathyaraj will appear as himself in a movie titled 'Vengayam' a film directed by debutting director Rajkumar. “I found the role very interesting when Rajkumar approached me. ‘Vengayam’ is a word often used by Periyar. The title itself conveys a lot of meaning,” said the actor. The film will be based on the ideals of Periyar. But the actor also gurantees that the film will have enough commercial contents to interest all types of audience. The actor will be appearing in a song sequence and in few other scenes.
