Kollywood star and politician, Vijayakanth will launch a news channel exclusively for his party. This would work complimentary to the 'Captain TV' channel run by the actor. The team is planning to recruit 134 journalists to run the channel. Sources also say that the TV channel is also planning to actively engage in enggineering sting operations to quickly find a high TRP rating and to overcome competition. If this materialises the new tv channel would become the first in histoty of tamil nadu to carry out sting operation.
