Bollywood star Asin Thottumkal will act  as the female lead in Kaakha Kaakha remake in Hindi. The film will be produced by Vipul Shah and will have John Abraham in the lead role. The tamil version was directed by Goutham Menon. John Abraham will do the role initially done by Suriya in Tamil.

Though Genelia was approached to do the role, she could not take it up as a result of her immediate commitments. Then he chose Asin, who was the female lead in London Dreams. The film will be directed by Nishikanth Kamath, of Mumbai Meri Jaan fame. The shooting is expected to start in May. Hope the hindi remake would also make it a great hit in bollywood like its tamil counterpart in kollywood.
