Kollywood actress Jai, will soon the don the hat of assistant director in the upcoming flick 'Poochandi' directed by Venkat Prabhu. “Venkat is the one person who knows me very well. It was he who brought out the acting talent in me. I am happy to work as an assistant director in his film, which has my good friends Premji and Shiva as protagonists.”

“Though I come from a music family, I always wanted to become a director. So I feel that assisting Venkat would help me reach my target at least in the future.” said the ambitious actor who is not carried away by the glitz and glamour of hero roles.
