Kollywood's young producer and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's grand son Dhayanidhi Alagiri is all set to produce a film starring Dhanush in the lead role. The film will be directed by Vettrimaran who directed Polladhavan starring Dhanush in the lead role. “Vettrimaran, who is giving final touches to Dhansush starrer ‘Aadukalam’, recently narrated a story to Dhayanidhi and his colleague Vivek Rathinavel. It impressed them a lot and they have come forward to produce it,” said sources close to the producer.

Dhayanidhi is currently producing 'Thoonga Nagaram' based in Madurai. His home productions, Cloud Nine had recently produced 'Paiyaa' starring Karthi and Tamannah in the lead which has turned out to be a great crowd puller. The Cloud Nine pictures will also produce Ajith's 50th film that will be directed by Gowtham Menon. The music of Ajith starrer will be directed by A R Rahman. “the film will go on floors tentatively by July, once the actor comes back to India from Formula 2 races. The script is completely ready and the movie will have music by A R Rahman, who composed chartbusters for Gautham’s last venture ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’.”said sources close to the production company.

Cloud Nine movies is particular about the distribution and promotion of their movies, which was very evident with the way 'Paiyya' movie was promoted.
