Subramaniam Siva, who is directing the movie 'Seedan' said that his movie will have fresher Krishna in the lead and that Ananya of the Nadodigal fame would don the female lead. Dhanush is expected to don an important role in the flick. The director has thus done away with all speculations that the movie will have Dhanush in the lead.“Debutant Krishna is the protagonist while Ananya of ‘Naadodigal’ fame is the heroine. Dhanush is playing a very prominent role, which is very vital for the movie. His character is going to be the highpoint of ‘Seedan’,”  “the actor emphasises a greater truth of life in this movie. That an intelligent man finds God within himself while others go in search of Him. Dhanush character stresses that the Almighty is very much within us and there is no need to look for Him elsewhere.” said the director. Actors Suhasini,sheela, ponvannan, illavarasu etc would share the screen space.
