Disney Channel announced that it would put up animated TV serials based on Thirukkural, the tamil literary master piece. The series would be telecasted from April 5, 2010. The series would be titled as 'Ek Tha Jungle' and would show case Thirukkural couplets. Each episode of the series would be based on a universal theme and would be presented in a 3d format. The stories would have a strong link with the etjics in relationships and society, moral values in family life etc
