Lyricist Thamarai often prefers to be behind the curtains. But the beauty of her thoughts always stands fore front through her outstanding lyrics. Few might know that, Annul Mele Pani Thulli,one of the most beautiful songs that came out recently in Kollywood was the creation of Thamarai. She was the one behind songs in VTV as well. As a perfect colleague of Goutham Menon, she holds the opinion that the director gives her a perfect picture of the characters for her to work on. However, the lyricist denies reports that she would pen the dialogues for Mani Ratnam's next project after 'Raavan'. “I don’t want to diversify at this point of time. My job is to write lyrics and I am content as a poet. I just don’t want to throw away the position I have achieved after putting in much time and hardwork,”says Thamarai.
