Seeman to launch political movement in the state from May 18 [Thursday, February 18, 2010]
Kollywood director Seeman who was jailed and later released for supporting the attack at actor Jayaram's residence said that he and his party 'Naam Tahmizhar Iyakkam' will organize a political movement in the state to gather support for his group. Seeman said that his party would launch a political movement from May 18. His party had allegedly launched the attack on Jayaram's residence as a protest against the actor's derogatory remarks against Tamil womanhood. The Chief Minister who intervened in the issue said that the actor should be pardoned as he regretted what he did. However, Seeman's party is planning to go ahead with the movement.
