Chief Minister M Karunanidhi was felicitated at a function organized by Sanga Thamizh Peravai on sunday. The Chief Minister was felicitated by leading celebrities and politicians from the state. The programme was attended by External Affairs Minister S M Krishna, Union Minister Farooq Abdullah, Union Minister Jagathratchagan, Union Minister Raja, state law minister Duraimurugan, Deputy Chief Minister M K Stalin, leading actors Rajanikanth, Kamal Hasan, Mammottyetc. In his reply speech, the Chief Minister said that he recognize the felicitations that were given to him as the call to remind him to put in more effort and strive for ensuring better progress of the state and development of its people.
