Film maker Bharathiraja who was speaking at a programme organized by a Madurai based college said that films are for enjoyment. He advised the youngsters not to be crazy about films and actors. He said that acts like performing Palabishekam was meaningless. He  said that education is a vital aspect in life and the opportunity to study should be effectively used. "education is very very crucial for students to excel in life. At the same time, art too is essential to bring out change in society.I was not educated. I only studied the people of this part of the country which helped me make films on them. Likewise, art will help to locate the unique talent of every person." said the director.
