The Mozart of Madras did it yet again. A R Rahman won two Grammy Awards at the 52nd Grammy Awards in Los Angles on sunday. He was nominated for the 'Best Compilation Sound Track' for a motion picture category and 'Best Motion Picture Song', bith for Jai Ho. He shared the awards with lyricist Gulzar and Tanvi Shah, who penned the lyrics in Spanish. Two other Indian nominations of Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and Zakir Hussain however lost out. But it was yet a prestigious moment for India again. Thus the Mozart of Madras fetched a golden globe, a BAFTA, and two Academy Awards for the 'Slumdog Millionaire' compositions. Hurray Rahman, the true Indian icon.
