Nalini seeks permission of Madras High Court for arguing against Swamy's appeal [Friday, January 29, 2010]
Rajiv Gandhi assasination case convict Nalini, who is serving a life term sought the permission of Madras High Court to argue in person in the appeal filed by Janata Party President Subramaniam Swamy who was against setting up of an advisory board to consider the premature release of Nalini. The judge who heard the petition filed by Nalini had directed Tamil Nadu government to set up an advisory board to hear her plea for pre mature release. The Tamil Nadu government had constituted an advisory board to consider the plea of Nalini who is imprisoned for 19 years.
