Sun Pictures bought the release rights of Vijay starrer 'Sura' on thursday. The production house also announced that the film will be released in April. Sura carries much expectations as it is the 50th film of Ilayathalapathy Vijay. The shooting of the film is coming through in the hamlets of Puducherry coast. The movie will have Vijay donning the role of a fisher man with Tamannah as the lead actress. The later half of the movie is expected to be shot in Tuticorin. The songs will however be shot in foreign countries. The movie is produced by Sangili Murugan and the music of the movie is scored by Mani Sharma. The cinematography of the movie is handled by Ekambaram.
