Manja Veelu team completes climax shot in Perambur [Sunday, January 24, 2010]
Arun Vijay starring kollywood film 'Manja Velu' is nearing completion and will be in the theatres soon. The film is produced under the home banner Feather Touch Entertainment. The climax of the movie was shot in an open land belonging to Binny mills at Perambur. The sets for the film was made by erecting a 50 ft tall 'Aiyannar' statue which costed Rs 65 lakhs. The fighting scene according to sources was made with the aid of advanced graphics and technology. The stunt direction was carried out by the much celebrated stunt master in Kollywood, Kanal Kannan. The whole shooting session lasted for about ten days. The climax figured Chandrasekar, Prabhu, Vijayakumar, Anu Haasan, Ilavarasu and 30 stuntmen. Arun was very happy regarding the movie and said that he had got his head tonsured for the movie. He also said that it was a very vital part in the script that he had to shave his head for.
