Veteran Indian music director Ilayaraja entered into an agreement with Malaysia based Agi Music to administrate all his works that he has done before the year 2000. Mr Illayaraja in an interview to a newspaper said that he did not have the time to look into the administrative side of his works and that it could be possible only with professional help. “If a big company comes forward to take care of these matters, one could. I am doing music for myself and I don’t have the time and inclination to address these issues.”, said he. Being the accomodative man he is, he said that he is not worried about the trends that creep into the music industry. He expressed refusal to comment on any particular trend, but said that all trends emerged to cater the demand that arose from the public and in that way, it is perfectly correct.
